We are all subject to CONSTRAINTS, and this every day and of multiple natures. It's up to us to choose to let ourselves be forced into suffering, or else let's tame them and try to derive satisfaction from them, even pleasure or enjoyment for some of them.
These paintings are a visual exploration of the social, physical and sexual constraints that may exist in our society. The book "SALO" by Marquis de Sade, which was chosen as the inspiration for these paintings, is known for its shocking content and its depiction of the extremes of these constraints. Using words from the book, these charts bring a new dimension to the understanding of these complex themes.
These paintings are designed to elicit reactions and emotions. The colors and shapes are carefully chosen to convey the different facets of these stresses, ranging from pain and suffering to guilt and rebellion. These paintings are also designed to explore the different perspectives and viewpoints on these constraints, showing both the suffering of the victims and the perversion in certain pleasures.
The objective of these tables is to provoke reflection on the constraints that exist in our society and to raise awareness of the consequences of these constraints. By allowing everyone to visualize the complex realities of these constraints.
In short, these paintings are a call to reflection on social, physical and sexual constraints and an invitation to explore the frontiers of our understanding of these themes. They show how art can be used to create awareness and to inspire action to end unwanted oppression.
