GENESIS
The Little Prince asked Saint-Exupery “Please draw me a sheep”.
For my part my daughter asked me “Please draw me a skull, I love it too! “.
So, I started to exercise and realized the first of three. She called two others for the perfect balance.
Then, as a nod to a series of serigraphs by Andy WARHOL, it was necessary for me to develop colorful variations of these 3 skulls.
How fuzzy, inconsistent and disturbing it would seem to be a living thing if there was not a skull in it.
Jacques PREVERT
By the way, do you know Montaigne’s essay on death, in which he recommends living in a room whose window overlooks a cemetery? Because for him, it allows to keep in mind the priorities of life.
Irvin David YALOM
