Reinterpreted works by various artists, known and unknown painters, who have marked Semaj. As much for the artist’s life course as for the subject expressed and his involvement in his time.
MORNING IN A CITY – 1944 – Tribute to Edward HOPPER
This woman, naked, at a window, looks in a space which is hidden from us located outside the room. Is she looking into nothingness? Is she preoccupied with herself, oblivious to everything that is going on around her?
This scene contains a secret eroticism. Seemingly awake by the sun, she gazes out the window thoughtfully as if wondering if this could be the first day of a new life. This erotic suspense encourages the viewer to enter the story of the unknown.
